You or someone you know waited in line 15 minutes to 2 hours for it. You've played it. What do you think?

The game is amazing. Best console game this year easily. Been playing it for over a week now and can't stop playing it. I even play it at work :) But if you want to seriously own everyone online or in system link pick up one of these. Works great with my logitech keyboard and mouse. A lot easier to aim a mouse than a joystick. Of course it made the normal difficulty in sp way to easy so i had to bump it all the way up for a challenge.

What do you people think about them not porting it over to PC? Personally, it pisses me off. I dont want to buy a console to play one game.

Consoles are for gaming. Computers are for work and junk. I'd rather play a game on my couch than all nerded over my PC. Plus no crashing.

Consoloes are stupid, restricted, closed platforms etc. PC's are technically more advanced, but also just a big tech-support issue. Consoles are way easier to use, a perfext piece of technology for the masses. Here in Northern Europe it was the Play Station that finally made the game culture visible in all of society.

Still all people I know who are really into gaming prefer customizable high-res, audigy-equipped 3d monster pc's above old and slow console with TV resolution. And there is nothing as disagreeable as the prices of the console games

The only reason any game author to not port a game to PC is that there is no uncrackable "copy protection" solution.

there is nothing as wonderful as a quitet PC in a living room connected to a big LCD/Plasma-Tv or projector and a piece of hi-fi equipment.

I wouldn't mind combinging the two worlds. Getting a PC on a hi def screen with wireless keybaord and laser mouse or a wireless joy pad. If game makers could get split screen in their PC versions that would be pretty neat.

That pisses me off sooo much! Its true im not buying some gay scaled down version of a pc when i SHOULD be able to play it on my high end gaming pc!!!!!!!11 :mad:

Anyone hear anything about the significance of Feb. 9th 2005?

Wow it is Chinese new year. Well apparently if you beat every level on lengedary the last cinematic has a line that reads "Feburary 9th, 2005". I haven't gotten close to that. I have two levels on Legendary beaten so far.

so all the date means is Chinese New Year? Well thats lame, shouldn't be of some halo significance? I'am confused...

It doesn't say anything about 2005. All it says is "coming Feb 9th". If it's 2005 then it will prob be a new game announcement or halo 2 downloadable content. If they mean 2006 then it may just be Halo 3. No one really knows except Bungie.

Halo 3 will roll out in time for my 65th birthday .

I need to form a party so I can choose the game type and map online. Apparently thats the only way to get online play rolling with the customizability of choosing your server. Now all I need is friends in my friends list :(.

Which brings me to this. I got XBoX Live for my Birthday from my brother because he was pissed that I was using his account to go online and make him seem better than he really is. So what name should I choose to play Halo 2 with?
