You may want to copy the german version into a free online translator from german to english.

It's a washing machine - not exactly an airplane cockpit. As long as the machine comes with a list of the various wash cycles, then I can't see the problem.... or the need for a manual for that matter....

hmmm... a quick look at their homepage gives the following:

IF you have the 12 digit reference code for the machine, generally printed on a small sticker placed inside or on the back of the appliance, you can go to this page, type it in, and download the exact manual for your machine.

If you don't have the reference code, follow the "If not, try other options, please click here" link at the bottom of that page, and you can download a general manual for their washing machines, which, from what I can see, should more than suffice...

well ethan, its the first time we have a washing machine at home, because for many years, my family owned a laundry shop (with machines that were easy to figure out, most likely those automatic ones like the ones in the Mr. bean's episode (love him!)) but now we got a very old machine (maybe the mid 80's) that didnt come with the manual since we got it from someone and not the company itself, it has hard to understand symbols (heck, even my parents gave up).. so thats why i went with a quote told in one of Dexter's Lab episodes (love him too!!!) "when in trouble, start at thee source" (deedee)... the machine is german.. so why not turn to german people who might know the make and model... thats all

believe me dude, im not THAT ignorant like SOME people here, i went thru that already, i typed what looked similar to the 12 digit code, nadda.... i downloaded the general manual... its for newer machines!

[edit] i could go with just trial (and maybe error), but i know s**t about washing machines... i know alot more about computers than washing machine in fact, heck.. many of us do! [/edit]

Make a photo of the controls, maybe somebody will recognise the symbols.

i got tired of doing this... but here is what i have so far... its not 100% exact and it misses some stuff, so if you own this kind of a machine, and have its manual... will you help?

[edit] im willing to make a bigger version of the right side of the panel if needed [/edit]
