Wow, first I'm gonna... wait, we don't have thanksgiving in Britain. Just a regular day for us. (For some reason I had the impression thanksgiving was always on a Sunday).

Should be interesting this year, as it's the hubby's first Thanksgiving. Happy turkey day, everyone!

That's what i thought aswell. I guess it's because they have an equivalent to a sunday roast for food.

yep, here in México we don't celebrate the thanksgiving... but..hey, happy teh day for those who celebrate it... :)

for some reason i never get enough to eat on thanksgiving. i can eat a lot of food and then still be hungry. and i still don't gain any weight.

pizza sounds good right about now. but then there are pies that need to be eaten as well. i'm getting hungry.

Yum, Turkey. My lemon-butter-basil green beans were pretty good, except that there wasn't any lemon or basil to use, so I wound up making grapefruit-butter green beans. I'm going to have to fire the shopper. :D

Well, nice hollydays. (I have no clue whatsoever what thanksgiving is) except I do get an idea of the name (thanksgiving). We don't celebrate thanksgiving over here.

Well..... We had our Thanksgiving in Canada already, as WhiteRaven said...

But since I deliver to a company in Detroit,Michigan.I get yet another holiday today and..Oh Wait!! Another one tmrw.. :)

Which is cool..We used the time well and finished all of our Christmas shopping...

Just a few lil stocking items left to get..Other than that...Aaaaaaallllll Donnnnnnne.. :)

As an American, I'd trade Thanksgiving for Boxing Day.

what is boxing day? i've heard of it, i just never knew what it's about.

The day after christmas.You get two holidays consecutive.

Nowadays, we often see, in certain families, gifts (boxes) given to those who provide services throughout the year.

"Boxing Day" is listed in the Canada Labour Code as a holiday.

At one time it was a day in which gifts were returned to the stores..IE: items that didn't fit, or were not wanted for some reason. Today, it still remains a civic holiday, but retailers also have the day off.
