First Skin; Some Problems; Feedback Desired

Well, I stumbled through and finished my first Modern skin. It's not great, but I think it is a decent start. I'm having some problems still and would appreciate some feedback on functionality.

1) The "Close" button on my playlist is covered up by the top-right resize handler.

2) Cannot figure out how to change the background color of the text for the playlist buttons.

3) When playing video, the file into text (KHz, KBS) jumps to the right.

4) Have not skinned Media Library, Video, or Shade modes.

1. make sure ur button is included after u have included the stdfrm images.

2. not sure why thats happening, try checking that u have defined ur buttons right for the system elements.

3. it seems that its always like that. try putting align="left" into the code for that bit of text or try making the x interger less.

4. you will need at least the video window skinned to submit the skin into the winamp database.

other things i found:
-the close button on the pl, video and standardframe are all in different positions to each other.

-your preview image is still the one from the winamp tutorial, try changing it in the skin.xml under the screenshot tags.

-the position you have for the content of the stuff that goes into ur standardframe doesn't fit into the window, it overlaps the bottom part of the stdfrm

-not really a bug but sorta hard to move the stdfrm around because u can only use the grey bit. first time i tried to move it i resized it instead of moving it.

-media library is not the right size and can't be resized either. try adding the resize function to the bottom right image to the no status stdfrm definition.

-of what i can see of the media library the colours are yellow and don't seem to fit in with the skin at all.

-media library has no working close button

-eq button on main doesn't work

-window shade doesn't have any contols

-can barely click the buttons on the pl at the bottom

thats about all i could find at this time (around 15 mins of usage so far), other people might find more.

You could always try downloadig it to see what it looks like, wacky idea I know.

Or is your 1.8kbps modem too slow maybe?

I would make all the status bars of the different components match for one. People aren't big fans of crazy randomness unless they watch Adult Swim that is... Ya so goodluck :)
