Another reason pissed off people don't need to drive SUV's. SUV's are like tanks and a pissed off person in a tank never results in good things happening.

Wrong. In most cases people hit by a car land on the hood. Since SUV's ride higher the likelyhood of a human body going underneath the vehicle is much more likely.

Irony is reading this thread this morning and watching the morning traffic reports at the same time. There were nine major accidents here today - every single one involved an SUV ... ironically one of the accidents involved TEN SUV's and another was an SUV that hit another SUV and flipped over.

'nuff said.

Actually you might be right. A bill was brought to debate on forcing vehicle makers to lower SUV's to the same height all other vehicles are, make them more fuel efficent and lowering the headlights to a level mandated for all other vehicles as suggested by the NTSB. Bush and the GOP killed the bill in 2002 at the urging of the manufacturers.

i don't like it when i'm on the freeway at night and some idiot, in an SUV or full size truck, just gets behind me with the high beams on. if too much light gets into the cab of the car i'm driving i won't be able to see out the windshield.

Those lights are a pain in the ass. I drive a Cavalier and my mirror (actually all of them) line right up with those lights from a higher vehicle. :igor:

The whole SUV thing annoys the hell out of me. Especially, since a good portion of them are just for show.

my grandma has an SUV i don't think she needs but she uses the damn thing like it was her only vehicle. i don't like it when she drives 80mph on the freeway in the thing either. scares the hell out of me even though i'm in an SUV.

I could be wrong here since I've only been driving for 19 years, but if you're driving behind a SUV and its headlights are bothering you then you're doing something wrong.

i have a corolla, i HATE SUVs and those XEON lights/brights, god fucking dam turn off ur brights people. I wish i had an AT4 mounted on my car

The same goes for Old people in giant Oldsmobile sedans and Lincoln Grand Marquis.

Not to mention that they can't see the signs on the road with thier giant bi-focals so they drive up the wrong ramp on the highway and kill perfectly good drivers... :igor:

why would anybody want an SUV with these through the roof gas prices. My car uses too much gas already. I couldn't imagine how much money I would waste on gas by driving a tank around.
