What do you mean? It's not like the US funds them...

zootm... I remember reading about that. But that was five years ago and I think I remember they were given a deadline. The US paid up something like an hour before the deadline.
The US probably owes the UN money again now though.

Fair dues, I only had that drawn to my attention recently, I assumed it was new.

I have a question: if the US troops in Iraq had been involved in widespread sexual abuse. Would your response have been "just can't get good staff these days..." ?

not saying all of it went to that
but a majority did
which saddam passed out, free of charge
which the iraqi people were very thrilled about

Probably, yes. It's not like I was serious, obviously it's a horrendous crime. I'll be outraged when (1) the claims are proven and (2) those responsible face little or no retribution.
