Why would anyone want to run for political office?
 

It doesn't matter if what you say is true or false, or whether you said it at all for that matter, either interpretation will be sought after like hungy pirhana poodles after a helpless crippled kitten. A vague shadow of what you actually had to say will actually get through.

There will be countless hired insane-ex-girlfriends going through your garbage and making advertisements about how you are a bloodthirst murdering ogre and how you brush your dogs teeth with an inferior type of toothpaste.

I say anyone who desires to be politician, should be automatically banned from ever being one.

The money. Don't they make something like six or seven zeroes a year?

i think it's in the six zeros range. if they were getting paid more than $1million a year, we're getting ripped off.

I think they run for office so they can show that they have money. Campaigns are really fucking expensive. Those who run for power *cough* Bush *cough* probably don't deserve their positions. But, that might be said of most high offices.
