Ok the crappy screen of the Original Game Boy Advance has finally pissed me off. So I am going to do one of several things.

1) Buy an internal "afterburner" light kit for my GBA with a faceplate for the dimmer switch
2) Buy a pre modded GBA with internal afterburner light kit from eBay for some undetermined value
3) e-mail Sarge with a deal on buying one of his many GBA SP NES Controller style handhelds along with a trade in of my current glacier GBA

What would Bryan Boytano do?

The first option is the cheapest. The second option is somewhat risky but not as risky as burning myself with soder and the third option involves sucking up to Sarge or paying a pretty penny on eBay (also risky).

Whoa, hold on a sec, now... If you're making out with my girlfriend, I'll poke both of you with a hot soldering iron. :p

If you want to go with option #1, you can send it to me, and I'll do the actual modifications for you so that you don't have to... then I'll just send it back to you. :)

I'm probably going to go with option one but I have to wait until this site gets them in stock. I'm probably going to have my friend Greg do it since he likes to sodder things and hes 20 some feet away.

Oh, and just fyi, the Wal-Mart here is selling Glacier and Arctic GBAs for $40 each, now. I guess they're trying to get them out of stock so they can sell more GBA SPs and DSs. So, if he screws up your GBA, it won't be too expensive to replace. ;)

they'll give you at least 15 bucks store credit at a game store for your potato gba. a used sp cant be more than 50 most places. ~50 minus ~15 equals not so much
