mp3z gone flat
some of my mp3z, had turned into silence.
even a few days ago, they were perfectlly hearable... but this morning, i noticed, that some five of them had turned into silence. i even opend them with goldwave....and the waveform was totally flat! |
it could be an anti piracy thing, or a virus, confirm please
|
that's hadrly bealivable... because, some of these mp3s were ripped off from different original cd. and some of them are really old, so i don't belive that this is the problem. but... it maight be a virus. i'll check.

Do a virus scan.
Post a HijackThis log. Maybe also cut out a short (less than 100KB) sample with mp3DirectCut (doesn't alter the mp3 data) and attach it to your post. |
Are all your soundcard drivers in working order?
Anything turned mute on by accident? |

For tha answer to your other question try sound editing program and see if the file is missing the audio or your computer is screwed up. Pretty simple concept in any language - diagnose the problem cause no one in a forum can tell you why your computer isn't operating properly. |

All I can think of is that it could be a virus, I can't think of any other explianation |
If it's flat, try raising the pitch.
|
i've got a similar problem with a few of my mp3s on one of my mp3 cds and my mp3/cd player. doesn't bug me though since i have everything on my computer. i never figured out what was wrong with that either.
