Political Correctness vs. Politeness
 

Now I am as anti-politically correct as I think you can get. Your black, white, asian, etc. Not african american, etc. Your do not have to be called "homosexual." Tour just gay. But I think there is a difference between political correctness and tact, or politness.

I don't call people "fags" or "retards" or "gay" because to me, it just has no tact to use words that like. This may change if a large gay rapper comes out and calls his fellow homosexuals "fags" and it becomes acceptible, but as for now, no.

I do not mind calling people queer, because it means weird. I'll call them studpid, idiotic, a cunt, etc.

I don't know, perhaps this is just me, but some people at my work were using "fag" quite loosely yesterday, and I have gay friends, and it just kind of got to me.

I work with people who on a few occasions, will call a particular person a nigger. Last time it happened I nearly got written up for punching him. When I explained myself, the boss didn't do anything to anyone. I don't know if it's good that the moron didn't get in trouble or bad that I didn't get in trouble for punching him.

I havn't a problem with nigger (well rather, "nigga"). It's acceptable among blacks, so I'll use it too. Now the problem I have is I can't seem to find someone who feels the same that I can use it with that won't kick my ass.

If "nigger" is used as an insult, then I kinda see a problem with that, but not much.

I'm hardly polite when it comes to using "homosexual" adjectives around people at school, mainly because I don't know of a single damn gay guy that's in any of my classes...Although I usually throw the "fag" or "gay" word around, I only usually direct it at one of my friends if they're are acting like a real dumbass or they're pissing me off...

Ya know, there is more than one race and color of people that meet the criteria for being a nigger don't ya?

prolly not, but i'll say that like dlink i'm not at all pullitically (yes that was on purpose) (why? to make fun of the word/phrase) currekt (that too), in fact i hate the whole fucking idea, and yeah i call my friends fags too, i even use the old term "flamer" a little, and... if pushed i will become even more politically uncorrect

Personally, i hate the word 'fag' (not in the cigarette sense) because it seems to sound harsh when anyone says it. I just take the 'You're such a knobend' approachw hen somone pisses me off :D
