$100 for 512MB version.

I really like how it charges while in the USB port. I also like how it doubles as a flash drive.

The iMac Mini is a smaller more expensive iMac. starts at $500 or so.

Mac Mini looks really cool. Impressed.

iPod Shuffle is a nicer-looking version of something that's been around for a long time already. Only really has price going for it. Not impressed.

the small mac is cool, but I doubt its powerful enough to do what macs really are for; different kinds of editing and that sort of stuff. They're just aiming it to people who love their iPods. (I will never buy an iPod)

That iPod Shuffle are for people who've already got an iPod but like to listen to random playlists while they're jogging as well. The price is good so I think many will buy it as a primary music player although a unit without display sounds schtuuupid to me.

My philosophy is: If can't afford an iRiver HD player, get an mp3cdplayer intsead. They are usually quite jogproof (at least sony has fantastic skip protection for almost all their cd walkmans).

Yay, now they can stick their hundred dollar walkman up their ass.

I'm just fine with my little 15.00 portable CD player that can handle mp3 discs - 100+ songs for 15.00 or 120 songs for 99.00. Fa-get-a-bou-it.

And besides iTunes music store is EVIL. Read this, it's one of the best and most professional attacks on software patents I've read. It's on the Apple vs. Real Networks fuzz.

Quote:

Apple was saying (and apparently believed) that Real had broken into something different from my iPod or your iPod. They had broken into the idea of an iPod. (I imagine a small, Platonic white rectangle, presumably imbued with the spirit of Steve Jobs.)
:blah:

Look here for some illegal (?) DRM cracking tools:
