Whatever happened to the post count?
 

I was looking at some old threads and people were talking about the ammount of posts they had.

And I remember Winamp Forums (like most forums) had a post count of each user.

When did Winamp stop showing these? Is there a way to check how many posts you have?

I could think of a few reasons they might have gotten rid of it. Eg. people posting just to raise their count, get a new title, etc..

But I always liked the post count :(

How come they don't just show it under your name anymore?

Something dealing with post pumping...Psychological thing, I guess; If you can instantly see your post count right there, you'll be more tempted in watching it grow by trying to increase that number...It doesn't help post-pumping, buuut...

Clicking my profile doesn't cure the problem...Just kills time until the next minute when I can post again... :rolleyes: :p

Because people were idiots who thought that having a huge post count meant they had a big penis and a better standing around here or something,so they posted mucho shito in order to increase their count.

Removing it cut down the incentive to post pump, or that was the logic anyhow

Yeah that's true. People used to always talk about their post count like they were special or something/ Been posting here 3 years, just nearly reaching 500.

I go for quality over quantity... well not so much quality but :p

jones, people still post shit, idiotic posts and spam nonetheless (i was one of them when i was interested in skining :p)

I used to check my post count a lot, but I never bother now. I only try and post meaningful posts here, and spam on another forum :p .

Thats what I did and yes the more posts you have the bigger your penis is. Its a scientific constant ratio.

Why are all men so obsessed with the size of their penis?... man.. if I was a guy... I'd pull my head out (your skull not something else) and realise that no matter how hard I stare down at it... exercise it, talk to it, stretch it (god only knows whatever else to it) It won't do any more special tricks than basic biology teaches us. yeesh...
