That top one pisses me off. Not all single moms are strippers, prostitutes, or on welfare. I have been a single mom for 9 years, climbed up the corporate ladder, owned my own business, become successful by my own right and have done it all without sex.

I do believe it was ment as a pun darling. Unfortunatly, if you lived in my side of town, you'd be a very rare type of single mom. Most of the girls are experimenting with sex at alarmingly early ages. I know a 12 year old single mom whom was raised by a single mom.

The t-shirts at that site are supposed to offend. I recommend you take a look at the whole site before you judge one shirt as being particularly bad.

That breaks my heart to hear about the 12 year old girl. She will either follow in her mothers footsteps or perservere and become sucessful by her own right.

I know the t-shirt is just a pun or joke and ment for fun it just rubbed me the wrong way.

Life has not been easy for me. When I first left my ex husband 9 years ago it was me and my boys. Kyle was only 3 months old, and Corey and Dylan were only 3 and 4. We were living on the top floor of an apartment building in the worst neighborhood. All my neighbors were druggies big time. My next door neighbor stold my boys bikes right off my porch so he could buy drugs. I worked 1 full time and 1 part time job. Child care costs ate away at most of my check and I did what I could.

One day I came home and my apartment was broken into. Everything was gone. They even took my babies crib. I cried and called the police. The police looked at me and basically said "what do you expect for living in this area". At that moment I decided I needed to do whatever it took to get my kids out of that environment.

Over the past 9 years I have worked my ass off. I have fought hard "in a mans world" to get where I am now. Now my children live in the best area, go to the best schools and have the best of everything.

It was not an easy road and I have made sacrifices along the way but I never compromised my values or morals in doing so.

Sorry..... I got off on a huge tangent.
