patriots is a daft name for a team.

I think the Eagles have a good chance against the Patriots. Thier Quarterback has more expierience than the the Steelers rookie QB, and Philly is just an altogether better team than the Steelers.

Eagles don't have their tightend, and TO is still a maybe. Not only that, but they have been really lucky so far (fumbles that go into teamates hands for a touchdown, etc). Pat's are just flat out good. Eagles will have to play a perfect game to win, but even if they do, I do not think they will pull it off. My guess is 35-10 Pats.

Wasn’t it me & ElChevelle talking about these two teams on the old thread....spooky? Neither one of us mentioned the Falcons or the Steelers...creepy. Like I've said before I would nut myself if Philly pulled it off but Tom isn't going to make it easy. I feel this will likely be the most exciting Superbowl in years. The Eagles have waited for 24 years for this opportunity. New England has won 3 Superbowls in the past 4 years. In my local paper, at the beginning of the season, the Patriots were the #1 chose for the Superbowl. It really doesn't surprise me they came this far. All I have to say is I hope the Eagles does what the Red Sox did & break that curse:)

AM I the only one who thinks that in baseball there should be a world series between the American/Canadian champion and the Japanese champion (The Japanese are really good, or so I've heard)?

It's bad enough our little league teams get trompled by the Taiwanese kids on a regular basis.

American baseball would wallop Japanese baseball easily. Just look at the number of Japanese players going here and the number of American players going there.
