Repurchase if missing?

I'm in a weird predicament. About a week ago my entire CD collection disappeared from my car. I have the back-up's of almost all of them on MP3. Should i also make the effort of rebuying the originals if i could anyway or am i just blowing my money?

Just wasting money. I'd talk to your insurance people, first car, then homeowners if that applies. I had the same thing happen 5 years ago but got screwed out of the homeowners because it happened across the street and not on my exact curb.

i wouldn't be buying a bunch of CDs again. if i have good quality mp3s at least.
