Can't submit my Winamp skin
 

I think I'm going crazy! I just can't submit my wa-skin. And I can't figure out what the problem is.
I have made the skin (.zip-file) to a .wsz-file. I have made one thumbnail-picture with a size of 178 x75 pixels
and a big picture with a size of 275 x580 pixels (both pictures are .png-files). I allso filled in all the
information about the skin. It's still impossible to submit the skin!! :S The 3 fields att the bottom turns blank everytime I'm trying to submit, and the text "All the following information is needed for your submission
to be accepted." appears at the top.

Try submitting your screenshots as something other than png, seems to spaz out when submitting those, yeah I know it says you can, but I've found it dosn't work :)

It still wont work.. :( I tried to use .jpg-pictures instead, but it didn't work. Then I tried with .bmp-pictures, but no.

Can you put a link here to your skin?

Eeh, I don't really understand what you mean?! :S A link? Do you mean the picture?

Now I have put a link on my site. http://hem.passagen.se/deejaypee Just klick the link down at the left. Then you se a new page with a new link. Rightklick on that link and save.

OK, grab it back from the link and try again.

Deleted 2 unneeded files and reduced one. File size is still larger after zipping than yours without these adjustments, might mean it was zipped a little too tight.

Ok, 2 things:
1.Did you fill in a category in both primary and secondary?
(does not matter if you use the same category, just don't use Compact/Utility and WTF for the primary category)

Dude, if you are trying to submit that jpg that is listed on your link above, then no wonder it dosn't work as it's not actually a jpg image is it?

That is a .wsz skin file and for some reason you've added the .jpg extension to the end of it, so it's neither a winamp skin or a jpeg file, so no wonder you can't submit it.

Send the skin as a .wsz file, and send a seperate jpg image, don't rename your file and try and submit that.

If you don't know how to create a screenshot, open winamp, press the PRNT SCRN button on your keyboard, open your favourite art package, paste the image in , crop , save as .jpg

Yeah, I know. I thought I had to because I thought that it didn't work to put up .wsz-files on the ftp. But I don't know?! :)

I know how to create a screenshot, that's not a problem.

Yeah, I've tried to fill in both and I've tried to fill in only the primary. In the first category I chose "Web Site" and in secondary I chose "Computer/OS". A couple of times I chose only "Web Site".

Your thumbnail screenshot is too large. Grab the ones Mr Jones put up, and try them.
