Mac & Cheese is a non-perishable food. That's why places like the Mustard Seed and other food banks ask for donations like pasta noodles, canned foods, sauce and such -- Because they don't rot, or at least not for quite a number of years in general.

That Mac & Cheese wouldn't have done anything to you, you probably got the nasty runs from something else.

Even non perishables start to taste funny after a while.
I did it with ramen. Tasted funny, but I was fine.
