PC or cam? (dillema)
what should i buy first? (on a medium budget)
Get a cheep 1.2mp cam for £60-80 and use the rest towards picking up a new PC later.
Also save £28 for a 256mb card for the Cam. |
hmm, ill convert currencies and repost here.. sorry
ok, i currently have 784.029 USD according to latest rates
Which is what in Pounds Stirling?
you mean, UK pounds?
in UK pounds: 414.154 GBP http://www.xe.com/ucc my currency reads 3420 ILS (israeli new shekels) |
Hum... ..best idea is to get a second hand PC then.
Well it depends, what are your current PC specs?
How good of a camera do you want / what are you using it for?
It depends...
How old is your pc? Can it be upgraded? Do you have a cam already? |

What out of your current PC is salvageable? or, if you sold your current PC how much do you think you could get out of it? |
main specs:
P3 500mhz... Intel motherboard: ASUS P2B-LS 192 RAM, DDR (not sure, need to check on everest) 13GB HD, WD... VOODOO3 3500 TVout creative soundblaster Vibra128 no, i dont have a cam, my dad has an SLR one, way old.. [edit] salvaged? my HD is clicking like crazy (no COD yet, just activity noise), so i cant save it... the Voodoo card will be saved for a second PC for minor tasks. same with sound (although it might be better than my O/B sound , hehe) RAM will be salvaged, will later be replaced by dual channel DDRs same with motherboard and CPU (although from the numerous times of taking the CPU in and out for cleaning, i give it about 2 more years to live, then... its scraptown!!!) |
PC. With those specs, definately a PC.
Yeah, but with only that much money, you can't get much better a PC unless you plan on building one.
well, some vendors here baught parts when the dollar rate was low enough, i may have to buy a PC first, and save up for a cam later, thx guys
