good Post Rock in the vein of Mercury Program

First of all, hello, I'm a new member... I'm not sure what this message board is really comprised of as far as listening tastes... but I'm hoping there are a lot of kids who hate the radio here with me.

In any case, I'm looking for some good Post Rock, or Prog Rock, whatever you wanna call it cuz the label changes constantly... stuff I'm into that I'd call post rock is
The Mercury Program
Tortoise
Mogwai
Do Make Say Think
some of Godspeed You Black Emperor

anybody got any recommendations?

Some predecessors:

Slint

Spacemen 3

And I always thought some Tortoise tracks sounded a lot like Dos.

Or going even further back, how about some Can?

I am trying to find some Spaceman 3, they sound really interesting... but while searching among other places I came across Maserati, which I'm diggin a lot

Also, Dianogah is good stuff as well... a little more organic than mercury program and others mentioned, not even a vibes player, making it a bit light on the jazz and closer to rock

Not all that easy to get into, but what (from this genre) is?
