Yea im asking another stupid question,
where can i get an easy to use courser maker?

I wouldn't worry about cursors right now as they aren't a crucial or required part of the skin. If anyone knows a free one, I'm still interested. :p
Edit: I haven't tried this yet http://www.take1.de/ so I don't know how easy it is or how well it works, but it looks like you can make cursors with it too.

you can but its pretty stupid i dont know my serial number.

Yeah, it has to be .cur, but the problem is you need a cursor program, or it won't work. I got the program to work, the serial number they give you is inside license.txt. It's a bit annoying/confusing but it might do what you need, but you're right it is overkill. I don't know of anything else, try Google and see what you can find.

Was it ever free? I had to use cracks on it for as long as I can remember to stop it becoming crippleware after 30 days or whatever it was.

My old version had pop-up warnings after 30 days, but I was still using it for like 1000 days over the trial period. The new version has simply stopped working.

hey i need different colurs for this and i dont know how to get red for these can some one show me?

and how do i change this?

So, if you wanted pure red for all of those, you would type:

SelectedBG=#FF0000
MbFG=#FF0000
MbBG=#FF0000

IF you want a different color of red though, keep experimenting, or theres things on the internet that show you the #'s for colors.

I would not make Mbfg and MbBg the same color. When you have a video playing, the text in the video window is the MbFg color, and the text background is MbBg. If they're the same color, you won't be able to read that text.

well im just exparamenting with it so far it looks good in the play list but I change it by guessing and using some off th tutorial page.

As far as programs, there is a program i had once that let you change the date that the software thought it was running to get around trial programs. I don't rememer what it was though. Icon Art is the best I've found lately.

If you made the cursor it should work. Save it in your skin, the names have to match the ones in skinners atlas (for example "normal.cur," "titlebar.cur," etc.)

oh ok that might be the prob. and should i also put in the cursors from the skinners atlas?
This is really pissing me off im done my skin just two more things to do and i can submit it but i cant seem to find where i can change this one part!!

or skin. For your skin. You just need one instance of each cursor. Once you make your own custom cursors, you no longer need the original skinner's atlas ones. Just make sure you name yours the same name. In fact, the easiest thing is probably to save them as the correct name in your skin folder. That way, they will simply overwrite the skinner's atlas ones.

wwell i have 3 stlas cursors left but that should not be the problem

edit: you know what im so pissed of at the thing im gonna say im done i'll finish the cursors and you guys can unzip it and fix it your selfs easy for you isint it?

put up another zip or wsz with your skin and the cursors and we can see if we can tell what's wrong.
-Are you sure they have the right names?
-are they all .cur?
-did you make them with a cursor program so that they're actually cursors and not just pictures?

Well then how come theree are not for me i checked everything.
Edit: never mind i just changed my skin to classic then back to my skin and they work now! Now all i have to do is make that box in the main window red and its done! yay!:igor: :up:

which box? I see more than one area that isn't red.

really where? i have found a few more and im fixing them now.

Where the green circle is. i have tryied changing it in paint and i test it and its still blue!

well, you can take a screenshot by taking printscreen, open up paint and then using the cutout tool to select the skin, copy that open a new paint and paste it in. then save it as a jpg or use a program that supports png. Please don't post bmps because they are annoying to have to open it. Well, not so bad for us linux users, but sill a pain.

That's fairly simple. I use the gimp to take screenshots because it has that option. But as far as mspaint goes, that's pretty much it.
