skins not downloading
 

this happening to anyone else? any time for the past couple weeks that ive tried to download a skin (all classics), it goes throught the whole process and then displays the default skin. help?

What skins? And, did you try right clicking on the main window and making sure that skin was selected? What version of winamp are you using?

its 5.0, but im still trying to download classics. any method of download (clicking on the skin, clicking download button) produces the same result. sorry if this is a dumbass newb question

What happens if you choose Save instead of Open (or right-click the download link and choose Save Target As I've got this strange feeling of deja vu)?

If they get downloaded with a different extension than .wsz you have to rename them.

Did you try right clicking and hitting "save as" instead, and putting it into your skins folder yourself?
