Winamp crashes when playing AVIs
Hi,
I just updated from Winamp 2.9something to the newest version 5.08e and noticed that AVS crashes the complete winamp when I try to render an AVI file (the mp3 still plays but the whole UI is f*cked up). Playing the same AVI worked before with the older version of Winamp Any hints or alternatives to the standard "Render - AVI" effect? My system: P4 2,8GHz W2K SP 4 Terratec DMX 6fire and some older Geforce videocard (I think Geforce 2 or something, not quite sure) Any help appreciated Carsten |
searching wouldve helped here
goebish has just a few weeks ago introduced his newest APE: an advanced AVI player it's even still on the first page! /vote AVS APE sub-forum we could post our APEs their so they dont get flushed out that fast with the usual squall of threads in the main AVS forum |
No, I already saw that one ... but maybe I should've made myself more clear: In first place I'd like to have the "Render - AVI" effect working again, so I don't need to rebuild all my presets.
For new presets I'll use the new APE as I really like it. |
there won't be any updates to AVS as we know, so you cannot really count on updating the avi render. sorry man :)

well then say what you want next time ;)
