makensis.exe with logging & large strings
 

Any chance this exe exists out there somewhere for download? I tried to figure out how to re-compile makensis.exe with both features turned on, but was not successful.

to compile its recommended to use ms vc6 with service pack 5(i think, not the latest one atleast, there has been posts about this on the forum, search for it) and the processor pack
