To be fair, it's a good bias factor. If you've owned that kind of engine, you've owned one bigger than you've had ny reasonable need for, 999,999 out of 1,000,000.

But I have a need for fun. What's fun about a car engine that's only "sufficient" to get from point A to B, when I can have a bigger one and get there really frikkin fast. ;)

so you get extra points if you own a 1300cc (1.3l) Susuki GSXR-1300 Hayabusa, a 190mph+ incredibly fast and hilariously overpowered motorcycle. But you lose points if you drive a Pinto with a 2.3l 4 banger. Gotcha.

you could get a small car and a motorcycle. motorcycles have small engines. what about freight truckers? they need big engines to perpetuate the economy.

They care more about fuel consumpsion not the power hunger. Those two things usualy go together. That doesn't apply when comparing cars to motorcycles. Either way. Motorcycle will consume much less fuel.

To think outside the box, like Bill Maher in his book "when you drive alone you drive with hitler" More fuel consumption means more oil. more oil means greater need for foreign oil. And there for supporting terrorism and monkeys in the middle east.
