Dream interpretation...

Anyone any good with it?

I had my first (remembered) dream in a few years last night, and I'm left wondering what it means.

I have a good friend, and I'm also friends with his girlfriend, we talk almost every day. I've never really hit on her, as I know she's off limits to me, but last night I had a dream about her and I'm wondering what it really means..

In the dream, we were just talking for a while... and I went to kiss her and she turned away.. Seconds later, she turned back and she kissed me.

I also remember another part of the dream with her.. My neighbors house was on fire and I put it out with a garden hose :igor:

I still have no clue about the second part, but about the first part.. Does this mean I have feelings for her in a more than friends way?

probably, you are a male after all, it's difficult for men to have "friends" relationships with women because of the attractiveness/want-to-have-sex-with factor.

Disclaimer: I'm no good at interpreting dreams. In fact, I think most dreams are pretty much meaningless, just your brain defragmenting while you sleep.

You're definately madly in love with her, but you won't let yourself admit it because you don't want to betray your friend. This will bug you for a long, long time.
Or maybe it doesn't mean anything, I dunno. :p

You love this girl and want to appear the hero to her.

at least thats my take on it and I'm probably wrong.

Your passion for this woman is like the fire of your neighboors house. The fire also represents the damage that would happen to you and your buddies relationship if you did anything. The hose represents your Penis however its an inverser relationship because there is a fire because you have the hose to put it out with.

Case and point, bottle your feelings and don't get drunk around her.

Psychology 101 ahhh yeah.

Drop some acid.
Everything makes more sense for a few hours.
But... after those few hours...
Your stuck trying to figure out why your pants are glued to the ceiling of your neighbors house. That's a fun one to deal with...

I was diggin that until the penis part :D I say putting out the fire resembles settling with my friend, but the house was ruined, which would represent the end of the friendship.

Damn.

I tend to think seperate drams have little to do with one another. The one with the girl means you like her but the one with the house burning down probably means you saw something about fire on the news recently or something.

protegechris 25th March 2005 16:16

it was the same one..

LuigiHann 25th March 2005 16:25

Whoops. But I still think dreams are kind of jumbles of thoughts, so the fire may have little or nothing to do with the girl, per se, even if she was there.

do you have a girlfriend?
do you think you have feelings for your friend's girlfriend?
have you ever had confrontations with your friend?

protegechris 25th March 2005 17:36

I'm single... Yes, I know I have feelings for herbut I try to tell myself I don't, don't want toruin what I have with my friend..

They both live about 4 hours from me, but in November I'm supposed to be moving about 30 minutes from them and I hope I don't screw up something if I do move there.

Coman 25th March 2005 17:56

well there you go.

LuigiHann 25th March 2005 18:11
