new skin
 

Been working on this for about a week, only done the three main windows so far. I'll post a screenshot, but to properly appreciate the animations etc you need the full thing.

Opinions and so on?

Woah! That's awesome raz. The only major thing i would say is to make the sides of the playlist a bit more clear. They look kind of blurry at the moment.

Awwe, it's like a little block city. With block ouses and block towers... You just need little block families with their little block cars :D
As a skin, though, I dunno. I like the animations quite a bit, but the buttons and such are pretty lost in there. It might help if each block were a more solid color, instead of all the tye-dye, and if the important buttons were their own color so they'd stand out more. And for some reason I don't like that grey so much, but maybe it's me. I can't think of a better color, though.
Still, a lot of this is really great, I'd keep working on it definately :up:

Yeah, it's looking pretty interesting, although the grey background and white labels don't really suit the skin. And I'd suggest getting a more disciplined colour scheme happening; it's a bit chaotic at the moment - and I think that all those colours actually detract a little from the detail.

I agree with Stillwater. It's a great idea, but I think that there's something offputting about this colour mix, and the 2d/3d mix, particulary in the vis area. I liked your previous skins better.

It's a cool design, and I like your use of transparency, but I agree that the myriad of colors takes away from it too much.

Taken into account, i've started making the whole thing from scratch again in a less cluttered way.

And LuigiHann, yes, 99% in paint. I made all the cube structure for the whole thing in 3 colours, in two versions, buttons pressed and buttons not pressed. Also had three sets of the texture at different levels of brightness, then used each colour in the cube structure as the transparent colour over each one.

It's nice to find another maniac who works in paint :D...
Now i'm starting using the GIMP but i collect all the material in paint and made the last touches there :D

Nice Perspective, i think you'll need some indicators in there...i like the trasnparencies as well..it's a nice skin :D(ir reminds me of THE CUBE)

Looking a lot better now.

Once again recommend getting the actual skin, it needs it to be fully appreciated.

I love your animations...the only thing that bugs me is...If the skin is about squares...Why are the C buttons and some other parts of the skin round?...i think that the skin theme demands to be all cutting edge...but, anyway i like the animations and the design...:up: nice job
