Ok I have had alot of changes in the skins that I said I was going to make but I have now come across of one idea that makes me want to do it because I slready have everything all planned out.

just want to know if those gray things in the titlebar look like nails or not?

They look kind of like mushrooms. Try making the shaft of the nail thinner.

Ok thanks for that tip. Hey i just got my other skin back so here it is i made it one day when i was board im still not done but i think its pretty cool.

just one thing mik, try finishing at least one skin...it also happened to me, at first i had so many ideas that i didn't knew where to start, well, try to take your favourite idea and finish it, right?

Yeah, your enthusiasm for skinning is pretty good, but enthusiasm without discipline and patience behind it amounts to little. Yyou've spent a fair bit of time working on skins now, yet because you keep jumping from one to the next, you don't have any completed skins to show for all that effort. If I were you, I'd pick the one that I liked the most, and tell myself that I wasn't allowed to do any other projects until I've completed it. :)

im still in the stagde of picing but my cautions skin took like 3 mins to do all that i geuss i will finish it and try... to submit it.

*smacks head* STICK WITH ONE SKIN AT A TIME!!!!! And two different types at the same time. AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!

I, at one time, had about 6 skins going at once. I picked the best one, and finished and submitted it.
I then started on a new one, killed it, and started a new one.

My first skin was rejected, so I now have 2 skins that I am working on. My rough estimate for how many you have going is 6. Treehouse amp, spaceamp, and many more that I could probably find if I wasn't lazy.

Yes, I did join before you. I don't know how that is relevant to anything whatsoever, but I'm sure that if I try to figure it out my brain will explode. So, I won't try!

Oh, well yes, you should know that by now. Pick one skin that you think is going best, and work at it. I wouldn't work on Modern yet until you get a few classics done.

hehe, yeah, good luck. If you cna't focus enough to finish a classic skin, then I doubt you'll be finishing a modern skin anytime soon. Let's see how many days it takes you to ditch that and start something new again :D

I'm not trying to discourage you - I'm trying to encourage you....to pick a simpler skin and actually finish it, and only then move onto bigger things.

It's cool that you're just having fun, and skinning is heaps of fun - but it's not just fun - it also involves work.

Well im almost done the modern skin just have to add some more graphics and fix a few bugs and im done.

Modern skin? I think you should stick with classic skins for now

That you made a modern skin in 3 hours. It takes me longer than that to make a classic skin, and I'm rediculously fast.

I didn't mean "where can I get it" literally - I was making a joke, the implication being.....why would I want a skin that has "no pushed states no EQ no playlist just 3 color themes that dont work." I wouldn't really call it a skin ;)
