My cat breaks the sound barrier

I had taken this video the other day, no editing (other then making in smaller so you can download) no Sound FX, nothing added. Watch & listen when my cat smaks my dog in the face.
I have no explanation for the sound.

My Cat Breaking Sound Barrier

Dude your animals are the shit.

What was the ad in the backround near the end from?

DJ ROACH 21st April 2005 20:04

That was for some games in the mail thingy, game fly or something. Ive seen that commercial on tv lots of times and those sounds arent in there.

Anybody got an idea of what the sound is.

Further proof that cats are devil spawn. How come you pushed your dog into your cats face like that. Looked like the dog was scared shitless.

DJ ROACH 22nd April 2005 01:21

I didnt push the dog, nor is he scared. he goes after the cat all the time. The cat has no front claws, tank my dog knows that.
he just wants to play with the cat, he whines when he wants to play and the other cat/dog doesnt.

OK, OK, I PUSHED THE DOG

I have a video of my cat and dog playing. I should upload it sometime.

Hehe. This guy always has some interesting shit to post when he's on.

You sorta remind of this dude I used to chill with.

Until we got into some er.. legal mishaps together :D

oh, is that why he started sliding towards the cat without moving any of his legs or body parts??

DJ ROACH 22nd April 2005 01:48

I guess it does look like i pushed him, think i might have moved him of my foot towards the cat. I have a magic foot. :o

He wasnt scared though, the waging tail and geting up and going towards the cat gives that away.

heh next thing I was expecting was him telling us his dog is part snake.

Look at the dogs head while he is sliding toward the cat, it is very obvious he is not happy being that close to the cat.

Acctualy he does that all the time, and its really funny. Yes he looks exactly the same (minus my dog sliding forward without moving :D )as he does in this video.

I dont want anyone thinking I do shit to my animals thats mean.

Fickle 22nd April 2005 03:36

The dog wasn't scared, but definately anxious about the cat. He was wagging his tail at the end because he was confused and thought the cat was playing. But since he whines, he realises that this is not the case and evacuates, leaving the cat to it's own devises.

And Roach, you pushed the dog.

As for the sound, I don't know. Really weird unless it was the cat itself, that makes some sense (although not really), but would defintely explain why the dog is so freaked out and confused.

(I had a lab for 12 years, my whole family has labs, and I've become very good at discerning their emotions. I can't say that this makes me an expert, but I have always been extremely interested in dogs' behaviours and why they do what they do. It's even cooler when I visit other people's dogs and I can feel them out and sense what they're thinking. I should be on that show with pet psychics)

DJ ROACH 22nd April 2005 03:45

Yeah, i did push the dog, shoot me :(

But i love my dog and wouldnt do anythng to hurt him, i do way to much with him and for him to do anything mean.

I swear he wasnt scared or confused, he does this to my cat all the time, he whines, well maybe when hes confused on why they wont play with him. He does that with dogs at the dog park all the time. hes still a pup only 8months so, he even whines like that when hes chasing other dogs or really happy. that were going to the park or something

I'm not condemning you for pshing the dog. I just condemned you lying about it. You knew he wouldn't be hurt, so it's not a big deal. He wanted to play, with the cat, yeah, after she hit him. He wasn't scared of the cat, just confused. He would have backed off if he was scared. Maybe he's just a vocal dog, my dog used to groan when you scratched him. Almost like a giant cat purring as you scratched his chin. Dogs are awesome.

Jay 22nd April 2005 04:13

yea, I agree, it's not that I think you are mean to your animals, but let's be real, you sort of set that up to happen. That is all I am getting at.

I agree, scared was the wrong term to use, but you can tell the dog knew what was going to happen because of the push.

DJ ROACH 22nd April 2005 04:17

I didnt mean to lie about it, i just responded that way, i didnt rember pushing the dog. i had to go back and watch the video again, so sorry to anyone who thought i was trying to lie about it, i wasnt trying to.

Hes so hard to get footage of with the cat, everytimr i hear them i grab the camera and turn it on. by the time i get there they either stoped or he sees me and stop to see what iam doing.

i just got a little 9 sec clip here

Print 22nd April 2005 04:30

Yeah that dog is definately gonna get it whether you push him or not. Seems like he's having fun...

Cat might not be though. :D
