wtf is up with being friends
 

why do girls just want to be friends..i got dumped this morning and so i feel horrible. shes said that she just wanted to be friends; is this a way of putting a guy down easily or an excuse.

Just to make the break-up easier :p

Nah seriously... "let's stay friends" doesn't mean anything: maybe you'll never see her again, maybe you indeed stay friends or maybe you have a relation with her again next week. Nothing to do with putting you down, it's just a nice thing to say at such a moment. Wether she means it (which she might not know either at this point), will become clear in the future.

Mind you, I've managed to stay friends with a few of my ex's, always handy if you part on good terms you never know you might get a chance to fuck them again in later years and that's a lot easier to achieve if you part as friends as opposed to throwing knives at each other. :)

I've had one girl say that to me.. but we were like 12, so it was no biggie. And we did remain friends.

Two of them are. Infact, Lauren probably was my best friend for a while. And I was glad after a while that nothing happened. Good friend, but it would never last if we were dating, she crazy.

man, the last time i got dumped it was after i spent $50+ on dinner. i'd say you got off easier. anyway, dont talk to the bitch for awhile. worst mistake i made was trying to be friends right off the bat. she wanted to get back together, i didnt want to, and shit went to hell in a handbasket several times.

also, things not to do: drink, smoke, drugs. again, speaking from experience. things to do: write about it.

That article is putting it as if I would have to apologize for having guy friends and not fucking with every one of them...most of my friends are guys, because the majority of girls doesn't hold LAN parties, plays RPGs, or listen to good music.
