No problems with WinAmp

Seriously. I think it's time for another appreciation thread.

I had no downloading issues while upgrading, no corruption on the download. WA doesn't stall while playing and all my files are being read correctly and played in full.

Let's see... what else...

Oh yeah, video works just fine for me. I don't listen to the radion/shoutcast stations as my DSL is crap. Need to get a job so that I can upgrade that and therefore start watching karaoke at Bamboo7. Maybe mig will make another guest appearance. He rocks

Oooo... no issues with the simple skins, although the last time I tried a modern skin, it did mess up my player a little. That was ages ago, so I guess I should try again, huh?

we know youre just gropping DrO:p

Ive had no problems as well, though this is the busiest tech support has been since WMA was disabled and 5.08e came out.

Here's a thing, I've NEVER had a problem with any 2.x install, going back as far as I can ever remember, in fact on one machine I've got an install that dates back to 2000 that has just been upgraded and upgraded over time, same with the current laptop, install once , install once continue to upgrade, and that includes all the funky alpha and beta versions I've tried over the years.

Always amazes me how many bizzare problems people seem to have when I've had such a trouble free experience over the years, mind you I rarely had any problems with Winamp3 either, except those that I caused myself by making wacked out skins that broke the engine.

I've fucked winamp up hardcore a few times. Then again I'm good at messing up computers, like when I crashed Win 3.1 by playing with paintbrush the night we got our first puter ;)

I'm probably not a very good example for computer stability.

yay gropping me, wayhey :) *licks* (if only we could get a built in :lick: smilie... )

only issues i've had have either been due to a screwed up machine which just refused to install some hardware correctly, dodgy plugins i've reviewed or crap i've done to the player myself.

considering some of the intrusive methods i try at times and it all still normally works i think it's goooood
