ID3v2 in playlist window [SOLVED]
Is there's anyway to force ID3v2 tags displaying in the playlist window ? All my mp3s are tagged with ID3v1 and v2, but some songs titles are too long. I use MAD plugin, is there a relation ?
//Edit, ok, so I quit MAD, but the MP3 audio decoder by default kills my display : I usually had Artist - Title track in Album - Year. I formatted it well in MPEG audio decoder settings, Title/Tags, but it seems not to use these settings. Ok, I solved everything by myself, but thank you if you read this  :D |
Winamp looks for the ID3v2 tags by default. If the ID3v2 tags are not available it will look for ID3v1.
It's probably the MAD plugin which causes this to not work properly for you. |

Under General Preferences->Titles. Or you can use ATF. |
In the future, just hit reply instead of editting your original post. It's confusing this way and I didn't even notice you editted :p
Glad you solved it :) |
id3v2 sucks.... too complicated and buggy. breaks gapless playback. so many different standards. not compatable with some mp3 players.
use id3v1.1 and/or apev2 at least their better specs |
