Microsoft Twisted Pixel
 

Hi there,

Previously I’ve used Nullsoft Winamp. This was way back when I had just a simple Pentium. After that I didn’t pay much attention to music. and just used Microsoft’s Media Player. Some time passed and I began to use my PC as Jukebox. And Microsoft had a nice visual plug-in for Media Player called ‘Twisted Pixel’ (A plug-in with a lot of VB bugs, but it keeps running), and it is one of the best 2D plug-ins I know of...Is there an equal plug-in for WinAmp?

I'm just making an assumption.... But is this what your looking for???

MilkDrop. Enough said.

I havn't used Twisted Pixel, but I'm sure everyone here will agree that MilkDrop is awesome, and it comes with winamp too which is nice.

edit: Grr I was also slow... although I have never heard of that plug in... it sounds interesting.

Thanks, this looks like what I'm looking for.

tbh it will be better to use Milkdrop that comes with Winamp. Twisted Pixel was made by Brain as a project to emulate MilkDrop. It came out for Winamp first and was later ported to WMP.

He will admit that it is not as quick and accurate as MilkDrop and MilkDrop now has a few extra features and effects.

by the way, anyone has done project vis energy bliss for winamp, it looks promising....

Energy Bliss is a WMP plugin commisioned by Microsoft so it is very unlikley to appear on Winamp

ok... any winamp plugin vis lookalike that... maybe new version of vis milkdrop...!

The are no visualization that look liek Energy Bliss that I know off. IMHO it is not all that good anyway.

A new MilkDrop will probably be with us after late summer.

Wow a new Milkdrop. Yay! It's been quite a while. I guess becoming Open Source would make this easier.

and it will shipped with winamp...:D
