I keep getting spammed (by winamp forums)

and how do I make this crap stop spamming me, I've unsucribed to all of the forums, and I still get e-mail'd is there any option that could help me?

your controle panel-edit options ,scroll down a bit to find the option to recieve an E-mail when another post is added in a thread you replied to , click no

And uncheck

THat has nothing to do with thread subscription, and in your case it's still on.

My Control Panel -> Edit Options -> Disable "Use 'Email Notification' by default"

It's worth noting though, that this isn't 'spam' - it's an option that you selected yourself when you either signed up for the forums, or went into your user control panel afterwards.

I've disabled your email notification for you - you shouldn't be getting any more mail.

this is only a minor problem for me, try installing gentoo from scratch :p (anyone thats used the distro will tell you better or worse :p)

There's step-by-step instructions for Gentoo. It's just a pain in the ass.

It's not spam when it's your fault

I believe I've turned that option off, but I'm still getting e-mails when the thread is something I suscribed to months ago before I changed my options. Could a mod make sure it's not my fault?

Unsubscribe from those threads. It turned off the notification on any new threads you post in but not old.
