Preferences > Plug-ins > Input > Double Click on "Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder...."
If it isn't in the list already add ;OGM to the end.

This also requires OggDS to be installed on your system.

Alternativle, you can try the Ogg Media DirectShow filter by RadLight

[Edit: Curses!]
[Reply \/: Yes, but I linked to two diffrent filter packages, so HA!]

DJ Egg 23rd June 2005 18:34

No extra plugin required.

Winamp > Prefs > Plugins > Input > DirectShow Decoder > config:
Add ;OGM to the Extension List

This is assuming you've already got the required OggDS codec (Ogg DirectShow filter/splitter) installed on your system...

[Edit]

Haha - 3 at once.
Though note that the version of OggDS in my link is newer & recommended.

drewbar 24th June 2005 02:51

I haven't had any issues with Winamp and OGM. Do you notice the freezing in other video players?

Sola Kusanagi 24th June 2005 03:31

Sola Kusanagi 24th June 2005 05:22

well no just justed Downloading anime and stuff and moveing them to my e drive also thats where im playing my files from could that be my prob?

biggman15 24th June 2005 06:02

Shouldn't be... Even USB 1.1 External Drives will play smoothly on Most any computer... I don't fully know what a OGM file is... But I'm assuming that it's Video, considering you mentioned Anime...

Sola Kusanagi 24th June 2005 08:05

ogm's r like dual audio video format

i have a USB 1.0 most other vids run smoothly my vid card is a shitty Rape Pro wont go over 30fps bit thats not the prob

biggman15 24th June 2005 09:40

"Rape Pro"??????
Who Made that?

Sola Kusanagi 24th June 2005 10:34

i meant Rage Pro damn whata mistake

DJ Egg 24th June 2005 10:35

Rage Pro, I assume...

Are you using the latest version of Winamp? ie. 5.093
If using one of 5.09 to 5.092 then there were a few known bugs which caused freeze-ups during video playback in those builds.

Sola Kusanagi 27th June 2005 10:31

yes i em and u know i still get the freeze when switchinh betwaen trakes

DJ Egg 27th June 2005 11:58

Hmm.. could you possibly do this for us?

Whilst one of these problem OGMs are playing, bring up the File Info box (Alt+3) and take a screenshot (Alt + PrtScn), paste it into any graphics editor, save it as a low quality jpg (less than 100kb) and attach it to your next post here (attachment feature accessible via Post A Reply button).

Basically, I would like to know which video format and ds filter is being used
(I'm also assuming that Ogg Splitter and Vorbis Decoder are two of the 3 filters in use)

Please also confirm that you installed the newer OggDS v0.9.9.6 from my link above, and not the older version from the other link.

Sola Kusanagi 13th November 2005 16:41

sup back again i had a virus in my last computer thats why it took me so long to replay but anywho im on 1 of my new PCs hopefuly i wont have this prob again
