Fraps and AVS

Has anyone else had any trouble getting Fraps to work with AVS? I've got the problem on two different computers.

Fraps works with all of the other visualization plug-ins. Just not AVS.

AVS paints on top of a neutral colour straight to screen. their is nearly no display adaptor step. Your computer will think its a neutral colour so you can't record it.(fraps will record then work out the fps from there)

fps is displayed in the bottom corner in fullscreen mode by pressing F. fps in windowed mode is in the editor.

So you're saying you can't use Fraps with AVS?

The creator of Fraps said you could...though my experience says otherwise, so I'd tend to believe you and not him (if I understand you correctly).
