The "Z" is basically a play on the number 2.

The "Z" is the last letter in the alphabet.

I meant in the case such as Dragonball Z. The origial series was Dragonball, then a time skip placed the story line to the second part, "Dragonball 2", which became Dragonball Z. This was only for the anime, though, the manga was titled "Dragonball" all the way through from baby Goku to the end of the Buu saga.

Well, at least they didn't start at Dragonball A.

bleh! cartoon network used to run a bumper/music video with a new style for the girls that i hoped they would do something with. but with the announcement of this i doubt that we will ever see any thing to do with it. i looked but google done me wrong! i really hate how cartoon network doesnt seem to care about their propertys. they let the movie be in the same crappy style as the show. (boo!!!) samurai jack oozed potential but, because of they way they presented it, it made me think they didnt care about it so i never did.

I could never take it seriously enough to allow myself to enjoy it, so I never cared for Samurai Jack; Always thought it was a joke... :/

^^^ thats exactly wy i couldnt get into it. i did glance at it long enough to realize that it had potential. all that show needed was someone to care more about it instead of leaving it in flash animation quality art.
