Winamp Videos ? in 5.1
what happened to the winamp videos? do i have to go back to older version to still get it?
|
No problems here, Winamp Video is shown in the media libary.
Try a clean install. |
I noticed that too, doesn't install here either.

media librarly > online media > streaming media cache preferences,
check mark "look for new online media channels on exit" winamp video will appear on next startup. |
Thanks myrm, that worked.
What a bizarre way of having to install it, bug I guess. UJ |
Nah, that options is enabled by default. If you disabled it, the Online Media section won't update. Not a bug, intended functionality.
|
Point is if you upgrade to 5.1 then this setting may not be at default and Winamp Video will disappear from the listings.
Even with a clean install the first thing I do is set the preferences and that's before closing Winamp. And why does this strange behaviour only apply to Winamp Video, why are the other channels installed immediately without having to do a global refresh. UJ |
the view listings as distro'd with winamp appear to be out of date. or something.
|
Maybe this should be an 'on demand' setting or tied in with the 'Refresh' time settings or something, it seems to cause more problems than it solves at the moment.
