brief error dialog box upon logout
 

If I don't close WinAmp prior to logging off in WinXP Pro I get an error dialog box briefly before the logout is complete and I'm returned to the Welcome screen.

The whole thing flips by really fast so I cannot see what's it complaining about I've narrowed it down to WinAmp by closing all the other apps before logging off. As long as WinAmp is running I get the error message.

Any ideas on how to track this down better? I'm running as a regular user as opposed to the default 'admin' account created in XP.

I'm using XP SP2 (up-to-date) and WinAmp 5.1 but as I can remember this happened in previous versions as well.

After some more squinting it appears to be Dr. Watson complaining that it cannot initialize because the session is shutting down.

Is it trying to create a report for WinAmp?

i.e. the ml_wire.dll.
