2 servers?!?

Hi,

I did search the boards...

I don't understand :

Even with the DSP plugin and the Shoutcast server installed on my computer, I need another server?!?

If the shoutcast server is enough, why I can't connect to OUTPUT in shoutcast source...

my ip : 192.168.0.252

why I get no result 192.168.0.252 or 127.0.0.1 and port 8000 ?!?

is the password the same pass required when I type 192.168.0.1 to access my router?!?

I see my D.N.A.S. page there : http://192.168.0.252:8000
or http://127.0.0.1:8000 ?? (same thing?)

something fixed :

I think http://192.168.0.252:8000/ (myip:8000) is the same thing as http://127.0.0.1:8000/ (localhost:8000)
(the localhost + my ip = same thing, right?)

In Shoutcast source : for Output configuration I put :

address : 127.0.0.1
port : 8000 password : changeme

but how I change password?!?

It works on the D.N.A.S. server...

OH!!! just checked on another computer downstair and it work too!!

maybe I don't need another server than shoutcast?!?

use your external ip for shoutcast and letting people hear you,

and try and keep all your questions in 1 thread so we can see your history :)
