What's the best way to do this?

I bought a laptop yesterday, and I took every cd I owned and ripped it onto my hard drive (not on the laptop, but another computer) what I want to be able to do is plug the laptop into my house sterio, and leave it there, then have winamp playing on it and be able to control what songs play from remote computers around my house ... what would be the best way to set this up? Any ideas?
