Conspiracy Theory...Now Fact.
Okay, let's first say that I rarely pay any attention to the kooky sort of conspiracy theories that tend to circulate all about the internet and interrelate what are obviously not-at-all-connected phenomenon. Sometimes I read these things for entertainment, but rarely is anything whatsoever feasible within them. Still, I tend to lend an ear to the crazy people every once in awhile, because these people (though usually mislead/crazy) are really quite smart.
Then comes the phenomenon of "chemtrails." There are two versions of this theory; I will cover both for those of you that haven't heard of it. 1. This is the conservative theory. It holds that the government, or another scientific body, is releasing aerosols or particulates into the atmosphere over the US (and Britain!) and that they are using airplanes to do it, in order to influence weather, possibly to regulate global warming that has progressed much farther than we believe. It holds that "they" are doing this as an experiment either to favorably change climate or to hold back global warming. 2. This is the extreme theory. It holds the same actions, but supplies different reasoning. Particulates are being released into the atmosphere as part of a malignant experiment, and the reasoning is nebulous. Could be weather terrorism, could be the efforts of megacorporations to control soil attributes, could be most anything. Government and other bodies deny all of this equally, dismissing it as "hoaxing" and paranoia. But interestingly enough, parts of this aren't actually theory. Go to asp.bnl.gov and look at their current research. I'm posting more later, it's late. I realize this may not make much sense in its current form. Oh, and here's a recent news story: chemtrailing |

Chemtrailing Story |
huh.
thats kinda intresting but i doubt the government would do that. |
i dunno, i thought it was indeed a fact that government has been toying with weather for many years for both malicious and good intents. Is very contraversial though.

Vapour trails, as I call them, will remain in the sky for long and short times depending on the current humidity of that pise of air. If the air the plane passes through is already very humid the trail will not dissipate because the water droplets cannot evaporate into the air. However if the air is not humid it will dissapear very quickly. Sometimes you see a patchy trail, this is because the plane flys through different humidity zones. The trail can move in the opposite direction from other clouds because they are usually much higher than most clouds which means they may be formed in a wind current which is blowing in the opposite direction to one lower down.
I couldn't be bothered to read the full article so if has other explainations for things I have stated, please point them out. |

Ah ok. I though that there were experiments about cloud seeding that I had read about somewhere but I had forgoten and then sought of though I had imagined reading it, but I guess not.

I think you guys have been listening to too much Art Bell.

Basically, there's no way you can say the story is silly (i.e., like most every other conspiracy-story) for two reasons: 1. Government sites currently ADMIT to research in these fields. 2. NASA and the like currently deny that any government branch is doing research in these fields. So at some level there is a miscommunication that validates the "conservative" version of the theory, at least in part. There's no assumption or paranoia in that. It sort of surprises me that people simply refuse to believe that any "conspiracy theory" could be true, even when faced with fairly obvious (and official) evidence. I guess it's a state of mind that the government plays on from time to time. (Oh, and I would have no idea who Art Bell was if my girlfriend didn't work the late shift at a local Fort and she didn't tell me about the show. Honestly, I've never listened to more than a minute or two of it.) |
I love Coast to Coast AM. Art is the master, though George Noory is pretty good. Friday night open lines are always fun.

You know, it never rains (supposedly) on the May Day parade celebrating Russian Revolution. Supposedly any clouds are rendered inactive, passing over the city and releasing there rain later by flying above the cloud and dropping 'Gypsum'(cement basically) into it....
Was a 'Weather Conspiracy' theory doing the rounds a few years ago... What really worries me is the recent 'Asian Bird Flu' virus fear mongering. It's kinda strange that it's getting all this news coverage and it's implications. Both the bird flu and the human variant are 'Retro Virii' and therefore can relatively easily mutate into a very dangerous variant. Mutate? or Manipulated? Question I'd ask is Would they or wouldn't they? Scary reaction is because untill a few years ago I'd have said 'Nah, no Goverment/s would do that', Now though, after whats happened in the last 5-6 years - I'm just not that sure any more... |
the Avian bird flu, H5N1 strain (the deadly one) was discovered in 1997, and since then, 60 humans have died. Almost all of which lived almost 24/7 with ducks and chickens. 1997 was 8 years ago, if it were going to mutate into an easily transmittable human influenza form, I think it would have done so in the las 8 years.

Please. If you would believe these kinds of stories then you would believe evening.

It's only really our inate horror of even the concept of the consequences of the latter that makes us reject it and accept the more 'Plausible', 'Mutated' concept, which we all hope beyond hope won't happen. Gogittas information gives us good ground to believe it won't happen. Still though, there is the concept that the Earth is 'Overpopulated' by a few billion..... [re-cues X-Files Audio] lol ;) ps: out of interest - when do I become a forum king :( |
I've seen a lot of whacko stuff on a government project called Harp. I guess some sort of microwave communication/weapon/weather thingy the government has been fooling around with. No one is really sure what it is, but some of the ham radio operators report extreme interference from it, whatever it is.
Hmmm... chem trails .... I've heard a lot of weird stuff about that including that the government is using chem trails to innoculate us against nasty viruses. One year, I noticed a lot of "chem trail" type stuff going on, and a bunch of mutant flies?. I feel no more mutated than usual, so i dunno. The flies have since returned to normal. I like CtoC AM too, but I lived with someone who took the stuff seriously. |
A lot of the stuff on C2C is real science, and I enjoy the hell out of those shows, but a lot of stuff is also a bunch of BS. Or real scence mixed in with BS.
