Anyone have any info, or know of a page that has info on this little Irwindale-based firearms company? Been kinda interested in them apon learning a bit of their Automag II, but a Google search on the company brings me diddly-squat... :(

After some years of obscurity the automags are back. Crusader Group Gun Company, Inc. bought the brand name and will soon be in production of new automags under the AMT label.

We haven't seen any Automags since about 1999, at least in any real quantity.

They have been sold under other brand names too.

I think the automag II shooting .22 WMRs is a little light.

For a small carry gun, I suggest the Walther .380 with Winchester 110 grain .380 RA380Ts for ammo or black talons.

I know, I know, an illegal bullet, but you can still get them pretty easy.

I'd avoid anything that fires rimfire ammunition. The bolt has to be too heavy and they tend to jam or misfire jam too much.

I'm not in the market for a gun...Not really at the correct age to walk into a shop and buy one yet... :blah: ;)
