winamp logo at startup
 

Hiya, gotta say from the start, great job with winamp, it is hands down the best player... customisable, user orientated and easy to use and run.

is there a way though to get rid of the winamp logo popping up when u start winamp?

i just don't like it coming up.

Preferences -> General Preferences -> Uncheck "Show splash screen".

Yup...

Winamp > Ctrl+P > General Preferences > in the right plane uncheck 'Show splash screen'

cheers, im not a total newbie, but it never happened before i upgraded, and if u don't know its called a splash screen well...
