ipod not recognised
Hi all,
forgive me if I'm covering old ground, but I'm new to this site. I have a 3g 20gb Ipod and I'm trying to connect it to winamp. I've had this ipod connected to winamp on this pc before but after reinstalling windows I can't seem to get winamp to recognise it. I have the ML_Ipod plugin 1.3 installed but it still won't find it. I have tried reinstalling the plugin and restoring the orginal software onto the ipod, but to no avail. The ipod is recognised by windows and it does mount it as an external drive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance Ian. |
post this in the mlpod forum, but ill help you anyway,
go to preferences, ipod support, select the drive your ipod is recognised by windows as, and format. that will let winamp recognise it |
I have been having the same problem and I am not able to format the ipod. I wanted to reach and out and see if you've had any luck. I am frustrated to the max...

Come over to the ml_iPod forum. It's sort of hidden, but at the top of the Discussions forum there is a link, then you link again.
There has finally been some activity over there and your question has been answered in several posts from the last week. |
I'm sorry - I can't find the ML Pod forum. Is the link in the Winamp Disscussions? Thanks.
