Deleting file from ipod

Hi all! just converted from itunes to ML IPOD I want to delet files from the ipod, I have gone to the left side of winamp selected ipod then on the right when it shows me all the files on the ipod I selected the ones to be removed by right clicking on file and remove from IPOD, once I start the SYNC after analyzing it says that the files will be added and not deleted and does not delete them from the IPOD, where am I doing wrong!!

Simple - in the right column select the files you want to delete and press the Delete button on your keyboard.

People why are you using that sync thing for everything?
Don't.

It's not necessary to have the same songs in the iPod and the Library.

Use windows explorer to drag files.
