Cannot reformat Ipod - Device Not Found
 

I really hope that someone can help me. I have been reading the posts for hours and cannot find an answer. I am running windows ME and and trying to use an ipod mini. I cannot install itunes because I am running ME. Winamp works fine but does not detect the ipod. I have tried every which way to reformat the ipod and I keep getting "could not format ipod" How can I get winamp to recognize the ipod. The ipod is my sisters and I know that she uses itunes (unhappily). I have downloaded the plug in but I don't know how to format using the plug in. Please help.
