Hi everyone:

What you are attempting to do is use a DOS-based Command Line Tool within Windows.

This will NOT work UNLESS you know what you are doing!!!

Contrary to what some might consider popular belief around here, Nullsoft does not provide an "Average Joe Blow" user-frendly GUI for streaming files encoded in NSV. You can however find links to GUIs that are designed for the "Average Joe Blow" from Sankt's website (Sorry the URL escapes me at the moment, but I'm sure Sankt will be more than happy to chime in if (s)he so wishes :D).

Hope this helps :)

Resevoir,

Which GUI are you trying to use ?

XP service pack 2 does some weird stuff to some peoples computers.

You need to contact the developer. He can help you with specific problems.

I dont have Windows XP so I cannot comment or make any recomendations.

Don't double clikc it in the directory, Heres what you do:
Open the start menu(Bottom left) and click "Run"
Then you write "command" in that box and press enter.
Then you write the path to the file, and press enter like this: "C:/nsv/nsvscsrc.exe"
You will need to read the stickie topic to know what to put behind that.
Well, if you are still unshure, read more on DOS in win XP(google it)

NSVGUI and the command line NSVSCSRC are two different things.

I don't recommend using that old version of nsvgui anymore, it hardly works for anyone nowadays for some reason. Try nsvgui classic (avaiable here: http://nsv.no-ip.com/downloads/nsvguiclassic.rar)
