Which anti-virus tool do you think is best?

mods: if you think there's a program really missing here, feel free to add it to the list

I use F-Prot antivirus - it's sort of magic.

AVG: I use it on my other computer becuase it's free. I use Norton on this one because it came preinstalled.

I did use AVG for years, and it served me well... but then they decided they didn't feel like supporting Server OSes on the free or the personal license anymore... )o:

None, I don't catch virusses. Sometimes, almost never, I do an entire system scan and it always returns nothing.

Edit: I would still have voted fuck you bizz anyway ;)

McAfee Enterprise came free in college, so I still use that.

i use avast because f-prot doesn't work with windows x64 properly.

Panda is the best. But I don't use one.

Avast and only Avast. I've tried all the others and they don't cut it.

I don't use any. I used to but I never got any viruses so it wasn't worth the money/time.

i don't use anything either. i just make sure my windows firewall is still running and i never get anything.

I don't have the intraweb at home anymore so I don't bother with antivirus. I think my friend is using Norton on this computer and norton on the other one.

I don't know what they use on the work computers.

my antivirus tool - safe surfing habits + windows executables don't run on *nix anyway.

Maitresse not a mattress.. doh. I don't use anti-virus because I don't need to. I don't do anything which compromises my internet safety. Ever. I am extremely experienced in internet security but wouldn't suggest lesser experienced folk run Windows without AVG at least.

In side-by-side comparisons, Norton and McAfee tend to equally be crap.
