winamp causes screen resolution and color-depth to be changed
Hi,
when I start Winamp the screen resolution of windows is changed to 640x480, color depth to 8-bits and monitor refresh to 60Hz. As soon as I close Winamp the settings are restored to what it was before. This was the latest winamp as of last saturday (dec 17th). The video card is an NVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 with the latest drivers (updated them to try if that would solve anything) I did a clean install of winamp, tried without new skin support, tried without everything, only winamp base. I cleaned out the "program files\winamp" dir. dxdiag shows everything is correct (directX 9) What can be the problem, what else can I try? Thanks in advance, Sander |
Using WinXP? Sounds like one (or more) of the compatibility modes has accidentally been set...
1. right-click on a shortcut for Winamp 5 |
Nope, unfortunatly that was not it.
