'Non-metal' songs that ROCK!

Your average spectacled-indie-geek-band just peeled off the wallpaper, a noise on a par with anything in the annals of Death Metal. :winamp:

Any such tracks reside on your HD?

To start...

:winamp:Stereolab - Golden Ball (Radio Session):winamp:

I don't really listen to indie-geek bands but may I offer To Get Down by Timo Maas?

gaekwad2 6th January 2006 15:28

Does this count as an average spectacled indie geek?

Ehh... the theme should probably be "Hard rocking songs from normally mellow bands" or something. This is too narrow for most.

The Walkmen - The Rat

Blur - Song 2 (kidding... I guess :P)

Sonic Youth aren't 'normally mellow' though.

Also my band are nearly normally-mellow nor indie. I was just posting stuff from non-metal bands.
